303 3rd Ave
Brooklyn, NY 11215
Grand opening celebration: Sunday, June, 10, 2018
Classes commence: Monday, June 11, 2018
The Muse, a circus and fitness company founded by Angela Buccinni, is thrilled to join forces with veteran circus artist Rebecca Stronger and recreational circus enthusiast Zoi Moulinos. Together, they’re opening a new circus studio. Starting Monday, June 11th, The Muse Gowanus will open to the public, offering a variety of classes and family-friendly programming for children and adults alike.
This new location presents a unique opportunity to bring circus arts to the adventurous families of the local and surrounding communities. With a variety of classes taught by experienced professionals, The Muse Gowanus boasts intimate programming and training perfect for both kids and adults. The little ones can explore class options such as trapeze, silks, tumbling and juggling, while Mom, Dad, and other adults can get circus fit with their own classes. Together, parents and children can enjoy donation-based free-play sessions such as “Family Funhouse” and options to host birthday parties and other small gatherings. Whether seeking an intimate event space, becoming a first-time acrobat, or someone looking for more advanced training, The Muse Gowanus has something to offer everyone! This expansion of The Muse promises to reach a new neighborhood full of minds and bodies eager to fly.
On Sunday, June 10th, The Muse Gowanus invites the community to the Grand Opening and Show. Starting at 11:30am, guests can visit the new space and participate in sampler classes. Later that evening, guests are encouraged to stay for an evening of cocktails and performances by local circus artists and emceed by award-winning magician and mentalist, Eric Walton.
